Viking Jelling/Borre Art Style Circle Pendant with Leather Neck Cord

This round pendant is richly detailed and based on a combination of Viking Jelling and Borre art styles. There is often some overlap with these two styles of Viking art, as both were prominent in the 10th century. This design sets three repeated animal forms which are heavily abstracted through the use of flowing lines and shapes against a round shield-like shape. This pendant is slightly domed in shape, and the artwork is single-sided, so there is no design on the back of the pendant. This is a great article of jewelry, able to match any attire, be it historic or contemporary.
