Viking "Lagertha" Shield Pendant - Algiz Design - Hand-Carved from Walnut Wood - Custom Rune Symbol
While this shield design has been recently popularized by the character Lagertha in the television series VIKINGS, this design is actually based on the Norse rune "Algiz" which generally represents Divine Blessing and Protection. We figured it would be great as a pendant, and we carved it here entirely from Walnut wood. We're offering it with your choice of enameled silver accents, or entirely brown to represent the natural beauty of the wood. It comes with an adjustable cotton neck cord which has been coated to resist moisture and wetness. So now you can take a Norse symbol of protection with you wherever you go!
If you want us to carve custom Viking runes on the back of the pendant, we can do that. Limiting it to three runes works best for the size and spacing. Just refer to the rune chart image for the names and general meanings of the runes.
