Celtic Double-Spiral Amulet Pendant - Silver-Plated Talisman
We designed and made this pendant to look similar to a real-life double spiral design that was long ago etched into stones in Ireland. It's a great example of early Celtic artwork. This symbol once marked many stones in Newgrange, Ireland. According to mythology, Newgrange was one of the sidhe, or fairy-mounds, where the race of Gods and Goddesses known as Tuatha Dé Danann used to live. So whatever the meaning or purpose behind this symbol, we think it's beautifully designed, magical in its own right, and deserves to be seen and represented in modern day life. This was a limited run item we made, sculpting an original master and casting it in Pewter. We then used silver-plating to brighten and add greater shine to the pendant. We only have a few of these left.
