Bear Knot Pendant in Stainless Steel - Viking Berserker or Animal Spirit Symbolism

This beautiful Running Bear Pendant was inspired by knotted Viking and Celtic art and designs. Bears are one of the most feared and respected creatures in Viking culture. The raw power, strength, and ferocity of bears was legendary, and often sought in a warrior. In fact, Viking warriors known as Berserkers were synonymous with bears for their wild, frenzied, and unstoppable fighting style. Bears have also sometimes symbolized motherhood and fiercely protecting one's offspring. This pendant attempts to capture some of this multi-faceted symbolism and impart it to the wearer. It is made of highly polished stainless steel, and will not rust or tarnish over time. It measures about 1.5 x 1 inches. A genuine leather neck cord is included.
