This particular hammer pendant is simple in its design and its symbolism. The knot design on the front is vaguely reminiscent of a cross which was commonly seen during the era when traditional Norse beliefs were starting to be encroached by those of Christianity. The sides of the hammer have a raven bird design meant to symbolize Odin's two ravens, Hugin and Munin. The raven could also represent famed Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, who had a raven as his sigil.
