Viking Thor Hammer Pendant with Odin's Wolves, Vegvisir, and Stainless Steel Chain

Perhaps the most recognizable symbol of Norse mythology is the hammer, symbolizing strength, protection, and the power of Thor. This particular hammer pendant was designed with a Vegvisir symbol and the two animal companion wolves of Odin, named Geri and Freki, whose names roughly translate as "Greedy" and "Ravenous". The Vegvisir, also known as the "runic compass" or the Viking compass made of eight rune staves, is a symbol of protection and guidance believed to be used as a compass by Viking people. The word vegvisir also means "wayfinder" and "sign post" in Icelandic language.
