Many ancient cultures had mythologies and legends surrounding a Tree of Life. Celtic mythology portrayed a tree of life connecting heaven and the earth. Viking mythology told stories of Yggdrasil, the great tree whose branches connected the nine worlds and continued on into the heavens. Christianity also references a Tree of Life in the Old Testament book of Genesis. We made this pendant using all of that rich history as inspiration. It's larger than most of our other pendants, and measures 2.5 x 2.1 inches. A genuine leather neck cord is included.
