This symbol of Lunitsa (or Lunula) is a representation of the moon, and the name literally translates as "Little Moon." These were commonly worn by Viking women and symbolized fertility, good luck, and a happy life. This one is based on an artifact dating back to the 9th century, and was found in a region of Slovakia.
