Hand-Forged Viking Dragon Head Brooch with 2 Size Options
This unique Penannular Dragon Head Brooch or Cloak Pin has been masterfully hand-forged with hammer and anvil. This strong brooch can be worn several different ways depending on the style/look you are going for. Brooches similar to this were initially developed from the Roman clasp or fibula. In the severe climate of northern Europe, the brooch became the typical ornament of the era because it normally functioned as a fastening for a heavy tunic or cloak. This particular style pays homage to Dragons of Norse, Celtic, and Medieval European mythologies. Perfect for costumes, Renaissance Festivals, or just everyday wear.
