Viking "Mjolnir" Hammer Pendant with Odin's Wolves and Triquetra Design - Solid Bronze
The Viking word Mjölnir means "Crusher" and was the name of the magical hammer wielded by Thor, the son of Odin. This pendant pays homage to that mighty weapon and symbolizes Protection for the wearer. It has beautiful detailing on both sides, and features intricate knotwork, a triquetra, two fierce wolves, and a stylized raven head on the top of the pendant. The two wolves shown on this Mjolnir are meant to represent the two animal companion wolves of Odin, named Geri and Freki, whose names roughly translate as "Greedy" and "Ravenous". This pendant is made entirely of bronze. A genuine leather neck cord is included. Simply put, this item is an absolute treasure.
