Greek "300" Spartan Shield - Made of 18g Steel

This is a custom made Greek shield is made of thick dished steel with a rolled edge. It is concave or "domed" in the traditional Greek hoplite style of shield. It features the traditional Lambda design of Sparta in brilliant metallic gold. It measures 27 inches in diameter, and weighs 8 pounds and 8 ounces. The back of the shield has a fixed steel handle and a heavy leather strap to go over the forearm. The leather strap and metal handle are positioned to provide optimum balance when hefting the shield. The shield has also been applied with a coat of protective topcoat to further protect and preserve it from wear.



Please note that all of our shields are individually crafted, and are made one at a time. The color of the leather straps on the back of the shield may vary. We use leather we have on hand in our shop, which may be different shades of brown or black. Nothing else comes close to the quality or authenticity of every shield. As this shield is a Made to Order item, please allow an extra 7 to 10 days for it to be constructed and painted.
