Large Hand-Forged Viking Fire-Steel or Fire Striker - Blacksmith-Made
Replicating the fire-steels used by the Vikings, we made this hand-forged fire-steel or fire striker from high carbon steel. Great for display, for wearing as a pendant, or for practical use. It's a symbol of outdoor survival knowledge, wilderness expertise, and a representation of man's mastery of fire. There have been many different styles of fire-steels throughout history, but we prefer the shape and design of those made by the Vikings. We've also had many people order these as wedding gifts, so couples never lose their spark. :)
