Round Greek Lantern Fish Shield with Blue Fade Background

This beautiful hand-painted wooden shield features our own original deep-sea "Lantern Fish" design atop an airbrushed blue-fade background. Stainless steel studs line the border, and dual leather straps are used to secure the arm along the back. The shield is made out of a 1/2" thick smooth composite wood which is considerably stronger than plywood. The front of the shield has also been applied with several coats of topcoat/varnish to protect it from wear. It measures about 25 inches in diameter—more than enough to cover your arm way past the elbow. Whether for the wall or the battlefield, this shield is well balanced and ready to serve.
