When it comes to Viking warriors, there's few things more iconic than the helmet. Contrary to what popular culture would have you believe, Viking warriors did not actually have horns on their helmets. They instead typically wore what is known as spectacle helmets which protected the eyes and nose and left the mouth and chin open. These helmet could take many forms, but all had similar features. This one has curves and lines above the eyes insinuating the form of dragons or serpents. This pendant is small in size and meant to be subtle and understated.
