Viking Vegvisir "Wayfinder" Pendant with Knot Border - Runic Compass Symbol - Silver or Gold
The Vegvisir, also known as the "runic compass" or the Viking compass made of eight Viking rune staves, is a symbol of protection and guidance believed to be used as a compass by Viking people. The word vegvisir means "wayfinder" and "sign post" in Icelandic language. This pendant recreates the power and mystery surrounding the Vegvisir by surrounding it with a knotted border design. We made these single-sided, slightly domed in shape, and antiqued them slightly to better bring out the details. It's a thinner, more cost-effective alternative to our other handmade Vegvisir pendants.
