Viking Trefoil Brooch or Pin - Borre Style Viking Art

Trefoil brooches or pins such as this were often worn by jarls and chieftains to mark authority. Or sometimes silver brooches would be worn and bartered for goods and services. Regardless of the occasion, this trefoil brooch can be worn with anything and fit a variety of purposes. It is inspired by the Viking "Borre" art style, and was designed with beautifully curving lines and segments that coil and wrap around one another. While we don't recommend using this one to hold together a heavy cloak, it certainly could be used to fasten together a light cape or tunic, or simply worn as decoration on the outside of a garment.
