Celtic Orca / Killer Whale Brooch or Cloak Pin

Dolphins and whales have always had great significance to ancient cultures. They were often considered good luck because they were most often seen in times of calm seas and good weather. To the Celts, these creatures symbolized emotional creativity, communication, nurturing, and navigation. This wonderful handmade brooch pays homage to that legacy. And while this item is inspired mostly by Celtic art, it really could be used in association with several other ancient/native cultures.

This brooch or cloak pin is domed shape, and measures a large 2.25 inches. These brooches are made of finely polished silver pewter. The pin attached to the back is also custom made, and is extra heavy, very strong and guaranteed to not break.
