Viking Berserker Bear Head Torc Bracelet
Bears are one of the most feared and respected creatures in all of Viking culture. The raw power, strength, and ferocity of bears was legendary, and often sought in a warrior. In fact, some Viking warriors known as Berserkers were synonymous with bears not only because of their frenzied and unstoppable fighting style, but because they would fight bare-chested and without armor in battle. That's why the word "Berserker" actually means "bear-shirt" in the Old Norse language.
This beautiful hand-crafted Viking bracelet or torc is made of finely polished silver pewter and pays homage to bears and Berserkers. Bracelets similar to this were actually worn by Viking people many centuries ago, and is inspired by artifacts found on the isle of Gotland (Sweden) and from dig sites in Iceland. Only the finest metal was used in the making of this bracelet, and it is lead free, nickel free, and completely safe to wear.
